CMOS - Certainly Myself Overcame Sake

SUMMARY:

Starting whistle

Someone gives me a laptop, an Acer TravelMate 201T 

because he wanted to return from XP to Windows 98 for personal reasons. Just he brings to home the laptop, he scared of my love ahahah

So, I noted that when I turned on the laptop, a screen with the following:
Press F1 to continue

Press F2 to run the setup

I thought that was a simple problem that finished when I format disk. However I formatted the disk and installed Windows 98, and finally I downloaded drivers and utilities for this laptop. I restarted the system and at restart same screen as before but I noted a note:

CMOS BATTERY BAD

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So I have to disassemble ALL!

First thing: Keep Calm!

So Look as Clint Eastwood to intimidate the laptop

I disassembled all and I knew that the issue was the battery

I had to change it. However to find a new battery I did somersaults. Finally this morning I found this battery, I changed it and assembled the laptop. 

I turned on the laptop. Again same screen as before only that now says:

CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR

DAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!

But simple. I had to only put hands on BIOS.

Done all this, I restarted et voilà! The Laptop is PERFECT!
