Today I installed Windows 8.1 on my laptop, but this caused the disappearing of GRUB (boot-loader of Linux) and so I could not access to (Kali) Linux.
I solved the issue by EasyBCD software (--->http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/)
First to all, I installed before Linux and then Windows 8.1. However to solve, we download EasyBCD software by link above, clicking on Register. After this, run EasyBCD, let's go on BCD Backup/Repair, and click on Backup Settings. Below to left, a "BCD backed up successfully" appears
Then, click on Add New Entry, click on Linux/BSD tab, and into Type field, select GRUB 2 (or another, according to your Linux distro), change the Name field like you want, and click on Add Entry
After, go to View Settings and you see
Restart your PC and you will see
or
Instead I now
BYE!
